I'M BACK......Part 2

So here is the rest of my blog post from Monday.  I am finishing up the tour of my new craft space.  (See Part 1)

This is my ribbon storage. I love it! Hubs made it for me out of scrap lumber.  I bought dowel rods to put ribbon on.

I'm trying out this glitter storage method. It's acrylic picture frames with Velcro strips on them. Each bottle has a small square piece of Velcro on them allowing them to stick.  They kept wanting to fall forward so I put Velcro on bottom of frame and table.

You can put any color/pattern paper in the frame.
I saw this on a blog a while back and don't remember whose but will try to find out and give credit.

I made this in a challenge with +LaDenna Lawrence
some time ago.  I used old cake pans and veggie cans.  Going up with my storage gives me more space on my desk to work.

I store my inks, adhesives,  markers etc... in the white plastic drawer units.

My paper scraps are stored in a filing cabinet in my desk. By having them that close I remember to use them.

I'm not sure about this either. I have my punches and some miscellaneous stored in this shoe bag.  We'll see how it works for me.  What do you think??

This is my closet. And it's more craft 'stuff' than clothes! lol  Stored here are projects I'm working on, idea books, printing paper, cards, envelopes and such. I have since labeled everything.

That's the tour of my new craft space which I call " Pam's Happy Place".  All in all, it seems to be very functional which is what I was aiming for.

Here are a few projects I managed to finish.
Tea cup glass magnets.  They will be listed in my shops soon.

Thank you for finishing the tour!  If you have any tips for me, please leave a comment! !

I'M BACK..........

...WITH A NEW CRAFT SPACE!!
Part 1

I haven't posted in a long time.  I recently moved and acquired a new craft space.  I've been busy trying to unpack, organize and label everything.  It has been quite a chore and I don't have NEAR the "stuff" most of you do!  lol  This is a long post, so I will divided it up into two parts.   I was able to sneak in a little crafting here and there.  I will post finished projects at the end of each post.

This is my new space:
This view is what you see from the doorway. It's nothing fancy but it's very functional.

This is my desk/workspace.  I will be using the hanging curtain to make a skirt for underneath the computer/TV.  I don't like looking at the 'clutter'!  lol  Then I will purchase a new curtain (I don't like this one on the window) and make a banner-type valence for it.

Here's one of my storage cabinets:
Again, nothing fancy, but it works for me and holds a lot of 'stuff'!

Top shelf holds decorative boxes with supplies and some pretties on top. The pic on the left was made and given to me by my BFF, +LaDenna Lawrence .  The one on the right I made in a challenge with her.

These two shelves hold my flowers, buttons and lace.
I'm one that if I don't see it out, I forget to use it!

The bottom shelves hold more storage boxes, my Cinch, postage scales and Texture Boutique.  The picture is my Mother and in a frame I made in a challenge with LaDenna.  The "Create" pic is one LaDenna make me in the same challenge.

This is an old  cabinet I had in the garage.
I thought it would be perfect for my Cricut station.

This is the inside.
I plan on putting up more tiny shelves to hold stamps that I use frequently.

This is how I'm storing my wooden stamps since I don't have room for all of them:

I will see how it works for me.  If it doesn't, I will come up with something else!

To store my Cricut carts I used another idea I found on Pinterest:

After I got these done, my friend sent me a new Pin.  And I do think it will work better for me.  I could see the cartridge names without taking them all out to find the right one.  So back to my TO DO list!

This is the third cabinet.  I'm using it for my paper storage and binders of bling, clear stamps, etc..  I wasn't please with the paper.  Every time I pulled something out, it all fell over-very frustrating.

So I used an idea I had seen on Pinterest:
I took 12x12" boxes and duct-taped them together. (Duct tape IS a fix to everything!  lol )  Then I covered them with wrapping paper.

MUCH better!  I divided all my paper packs into themes.  Now I can pull one out and it stays organized!  The standing paper packs are seasonal and are not used all the time.

I love it!  I made 2 of them and they were free!  I would love to get pizza boxes and do my solids like this.  One more thing on my "TO DO" list!  lol

I will post more in a couple of days.  I did get everything labeled so I know where everything is!

Here are a couple of projects I managed to complete while moving:
Cards I made for my grandsons.

The two above cards were made for my granddaughters.

Glass magnets that will be listed in my Etsy and Zibbet shops soon.

Sorry for such a long post but I appreciate your time in reading it!

Do you have any suggestions or tips for better organization for my new space?  I would love to hear them!

Have a lovely week!
