BABY BOY.....

....FRAMED MINI ALBUM.

I just completed this mini album today!  I posted the Baby Girl one here:  BABY GIRL MINI

I just love making these framed albums.  I think they are really nice sitting on a table or mantle to display the photos instead of being in a book or drawer (like most of mine!  lol)

This is what it looks like sitting on my desk.  This is a 4x6" re-purposed frame.

I embellished the frame with Cricut cuts and buttons.

There are several pages for photos and journaling.

Here you can record the baby's birth statistics.

Some of the pages have a dual purpose.  You can journal on the tag and put a photo underneath.

This page is a decorative page.

 Another dual purpose page.

This is the last page-space for a photo plus a journaling tag.

I absolutely love how both of the baby albums turned out!
I wish I had known these things when my children were babies!
I will be making a few of these to keep on hand for shower, birthday and Christmas gifts!

Thank you for stopping by!

BABY GIRL....

FRAMED MINI ALBUM.

I made this cute mini album a few weeks ago.  It would be perfect to set out to display the new baby's photos.  I am currently working on a baby boy one which I will post when its completed.

This is the front of the mini album.  It's a 4x6" area for the album itself.

I embellished it with lots of flowers and bling.  What girl doesn't like bling?!

The are a lot of places for photos and journaling.

This is a photo mat that comes out leaving a space for yet another photo/journal.

The journal tag comes out leaving another space for a photo.

This is the last page.  A photo slips behind the little tag to hold it in.

I really like the way this turned out.  I think it's nice to be able to set your photos out to be viewed instead of being in a book or drawer (like a lot of mine!  lol)

Thanks for coming by to see my newest creation!

WoW-DAY 23!

Still working on my Blog A Day challenge!  Missed a couple while on vacation last week but am back in the swing of things!

Day 23 photo prompt:
"D is for ........"

My Dog Lucy!   She's a Chiweenie and weighs about 11 lbs.  She thinks she has to lay in my lap or right beside me 24/7; but this is how she was raised.  She's almost 5 years old.  : )

I can't wait to reveal all the projects I made while visiting my friend, +LaDenna Lawrence !  Hopefully, that post will go up Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Until then, thanks for stopping by!

OH MONDAY.....

Why do you get here so fast?
My vacation is officially over.  I go back to work tomorrow.  I don't mind it so much-I love my job!  I care for a 91 yr-old lady.  I have been with her for about 4 years now-she feels like family.  : )

I would love to post all the projects I made while crafting with my friend, +LaDenna Lawrence.  But we will both do the challenge reveal on Wednesday and I will blog it Thursday.  We made so many CUTE things-Halloween cards, Christmas cards/decor and several Christmas gifts.  I can't wait to go back next month for her daughter's graduation and more crafting!

I am still working on my Blog A Day & Photo A Day Challenges. I've done pretty good with a few misses while on vacation.  All in all I am okay with that.
Today's photo prompt was "I Drew This!".  I was at a loss so this is what I came up with.  Don't laugh!  lol

If nothing else, it's original!  lol

Also, I had a visit from some special people today!  Some of my faves!

Three month old Baby Emma-great granddaughter.  She loved her new little musical toy!

 Tuckered out-fell asleep sitting up!

 My beautiful granddaughter Mallory!

Carson had his third birthday last week.  We took him shopping and he picked out this mask as one of his gifts.

LOVE this pic!  Carson and Baby Emma.  They are SO precious!

Thank you for visiting me and seeing a little of my family.  They are the things that I'm most proud of and that keep me going.

Have a great week!

MONEY DOES GROW ON TREES-Challenge Reveal

The following cards were made for my weekly craft challenge with +LaDenna Lawrence .  Since it's July, we are doing Christmas in July.  I'm going to spend the week with her next week making Christmas gifts and crafts.

I found a card similar to these on Pinterest made by HERO ARTS.  There are several cute money cards on their blog.

Inside of money tree cards.

I absolutely love kraft paper.  I haven't done much with it up until now and have started using it in several projects.  I cut these deer with my Cricut "Winter Woodland" cartridge and glittered and blinged them up!

I stamped silver snowflakes inside and stamped the sentiments on card stock.

This is another one made from kraft paper.  I cut the snowflake from the "Winter Woodland" cartridge.  The scallops are from a 1" circle punch.  I made matching envelopes by stamping silver snowflakes.

Here is LaDenna's take on our cards.  She also used the "Winter Woodland" and cut the cards and added layers.  I didn't even know that cartridge did cards like that!  Learn something new every day!  lol

I am in Day 10 of my Blog A Day challenge.  And it HAS been a CHALLENGE!  lol  Only 20 more days to go!
Next week will be the real challenge-I will be on vacation and mobile-so it's going to be harder to post.   but I will do the best I can!

Thank you all for stopping by!

CHARGING AHEAD WITH CHALLENGES

DAY 9

I am working on the ninth day of my challenges.  This is the ninth day of BLOG A DAY-which I am up-to-date on!  And it's also the ninth day of PHOTO A DAY challenge.  I missed yesterday's photo.  I will do two today.
Yes, it does take some commitment and work to accomplish these tasks but I know it will be well worth the feeling of accomplishment when I complete them!

Today's photo prompt is: "3 Things".

These are magnetic bookmarks I made and sold in my SHOP.

Day 8 prompt:  PATH

I had to study on this one.  I don't have any type of path around my home.  I thought about posting the definition!  But here is what I came up with:

I took this pic from the 1947 SUNG UNDER THE SILVER UMBRELLA--Poems for Young Children.
It includes poems by Robert Frost, Robert Louis Stevenson, Emily Dickinson, William Wordsworth and many, many more poets. The original was published in 1935.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to visit me!  : )

FRIDAY'S 5 FAVES

WOOHOO-FRIDAY!!

I hope everyone had a good and safe 4th!
========================================
In keeping with my regular blog schedule, I'm going to do my week's five favorite things.  And, once again, I get to incorporate my Photo A Day challenge over at FAT MUM SLIM's in with it.

1.  I accepted two 30-day challenges.  Blog A Day over at
DELECTABLY DAWN's and the above mentioned Photo A Day.

2.  I learned to do some new things to my blog, ie. some html!  That excites me because I don't understand it AT ALL!

3.  Fourth of July.  I had a very quiet one; but I put out my flag, my wreath and other decor.  I am forever thankful for our country the the men and women who have fought to keep it free.  My oldest son is a DAV.  I'm very proud of his service.  My youngest son is a Sgt in the Army and is stationed in S. Korea.

4.  Now for my fave photo. Our PHOTO PROMPT for today (day 5, I started 2 days late) is "LOVE".
I took this pic a couple of months ago.
This is my granddaughter, Mallory, and my great granddaughter Emma.  This is LOVE.

5.  ONE of my fave pins:
It's a blog run by two ladies "who have no idea of what they are doing with their lives....."  You won't regret paying them a visit!
==================================

And I can't forget my COFFEE LOVE!  I have met a few people this week who love coffee as much as I do!  lol  "Any friend of coffee is a friend of mine!"

Thank you all for taking time out of your busy day to visit me!

RED WHITE & BLUE

HAPPY 4th of  JULY!!!
Hoping you all have a wonderful and safe 4th!

 ====================================
Day 2 of my challenges-Blog A Day and Photo A Day.
Our prompt for our photos is "red, white or blue".  Very appropriate!
While doing my challenges, I wanted to incorporate my love of crafts.  This is why I started my blog in the first place.  I can include a lot of projects with today's prompt!

Sun catcher made from wood frame and glass pebbles.  This one I sold to the lovely Arletta at ARLETTA'S CLASSIC CREATIONS.

This was a challenge with a friend.  Used re-cycled wood.

Picture frame made for my little soldier-grandson.

Mini album of my son's service.

 My son, Sgt Adam Gracy

Challenge using more re-cycled wood!

Cards I made to send to  my grandkids this year.

I made this from an old scratched up CD!

Used my Cricut to make all the cuts for this wreath.
Clip Its I make and sell in my shops.
