SELF DISCIPLINE

Happy Wednesday (almost Thursday)!
It's been a while since I've posted. I'm learning that it takes a lot of self discipline to blog-on a regular basis .  I would like to be one of those who blogs daily. But alas, I am not!  Maybe someday in the future when I learn to manage my time better. I used to think I was fairly good at time management until I started noticing how much some of you get done. Many of you have jobs, children and homes you have to take care of. HOW do you find time to create? I don't know how some of you create as many things as you do on a daily basis. I envy your knowledge of how to organize it all!

I have yet to post last week's challenge with the Crafty Diva.   The challenge was to use a small box-decorate it-and make a mini album to go in it.

This is a mac & cheese box that I covered with paper. I love this paper!
It looks like it's been painted with crackle paint.

Inside cover and album.

I decorated the front cover with flowers, feathers and butterflies.that I embossed.

For the album, I used chipboard for the front and back covers and chipboard coasters for the pages.

I made this album to put my grand and great grandkids' pics in. I still want to add the
following to the blank page- "What happens at MiMi's stays at MiMi's!".

Back cover.

This one was a lot of fun to make! I've received a lot of compliments on it.
I went to +LaDenna Lawrence 's last weekend and we worked on a couple of projects. I will be posting those and our card and frame challenges next week.

I hope to learn to start managing my time better. IF I succeed, I will be posting again soon!!

  1. WOW Pam, LOVE that very first piece made from the mac 'n cheese box and can't believe it's paper, looks so much like aged wood! Oh and you're doing a lot better with your blog than I've been doing.
